With two three-night packages for four people (offering exclusive use of our two one-bedroom lodges), Kittawa Lodge and Christine have curated the ultimate food and luxury experience, with Christine personally cooking for guests in one lodge. 

With just two packages available, experience intimate private dinners, together with daily treats and lunches, by Christine Manfield for the four of you, while encountering the beautiful and spectacularly remote Kittawa Lodge.

A little bit about Kittawa Lodge

A secluded, ocean front 96-acre property on King Island, the award-winning Kittawa Lodge offers refined boutique accommodation, with panoramic views of the untouched rugged coastal landscape.

Completely off-grid, each lodge is architecturally designed to maximise your connection to the outdoors while minimising exposure to the elements.

A little bit about the package

Christine Manfield will cook private dinners for all four guests in one of their lodges, as well as provide daily breakfast items, snacks and lunch, including one lunch offsite in an exclusive and unique location.  A selection of Tasmanian wines, beers and spirits are included throughout guests’ stay and matching Tasmanian wines will be served with each dinner.  

Every night, guests can learn from Christine as she takes you through her signature farm-to-table cooking, using the world-renowned and seasonal produce of King Island.  

A little bit about Christine Manfield

Christine Manfield is one of Australia’s most celebrated chefs, inspired by the culinary melting pot of global flavours.

As an award-winning author, her books – including Dessert Divas, Tasting India, Fire, Spice, Stir – have spiced up the lives of keen cooks around the world.  She has regularly contributed to food and travel features in media.

An inveterate traveller, Christine has hosted bespoke gastronomic tours over the past twenty years to exotic destinations including India, Africa, Bhutan, France, SE Asia, Italy, and South America.  Since relocating to the Tweed Coast in Northern NSW in early 2020, Christine now works to celebrate regional tourism through meaningful and sustainable projects.

Each package comprises:

  • Locally sourced breakfast provisions in your lodge, for you to enjoy at leisure in each lodge, together with a daily baked treat from Christine Manfield.
  • One private lunch experience with a local producer and Christine.
  • One picnic lunch experience, curated by Christine.
  • Nightly dinners in one lodge for four guests, enjoying an intimate setting with Christine and the team at Kittawa Lodge, with matching wines.
  • A range of premium Tasmanian beers, wines and spirits during your stay.
  • AWD car hire throughout your stay on King Island.

Guests can amplify their Kittawa Lodge stay by opting to purchase wellness experiences, such as massages, or yoga and meditation sessions. Wellness additions can be arranged on enquiry. 

Flights are not included in this package.
